1. If Sachin scores a century, the team loses. A bunch of jokers even pray that the legend gets out in 99 or even for a duck.
2. When a guy proposes a girl it means he has guts whereas if its the other way round, she must be so desparate. Spare her.
3. Most of the conservative families are quite strict when it comes to love marriage. They'll have their own set of criterias. Same religion, same caste, complexion, status etc... If they are unable to find the appropriate match, they would ask "Havent you found one? Different caste is ok. Same religion is preferred but Christian is still ok." Heights of hypocrisy...
4. The senseless Senas who involve in cheap acts of beating women and couples for going to pubs, celebrating frienship's day, valentine's day.. etc. They give the stupidest of explanations saying that the culture is at stake. Where did such Psychos originate from. The sad thing is some portion of the so called "Educated" ones also support such male chauvenist acts saying Women got to dress accordingly. What the beep!!!
5. If a girl wears western outfits and stays away from family (being independant) she has to be a boozard with many boyfriends. God bless the poor souls.
6. A,B,C and D are supposedly friends. A tries to be the good one in front of everyone. Theoritically A loves everyone. A is sweet to B. A bitches about B to C. A is sweet to C. A bitches about C to D. A is sweet to D. A bitches about D to B. BITCHY!

Why Apple and not Orange?
I was more inquistive in knowing the reasoning behind the naming convention of Apple.
Here goes the interesting story from what I read...
The most admirable individualist silicon valley enterprenuer who shows up in his black turtle neck during all of his company's product release was involved with his group of friends in running a community farm in Oregan. He was doing it part time while working in the Bay Area of San Francisco. He suggested the name "Apple Computers" to his other co founder Steve Wozniak.
Wozniak said this in the book about the name of the company:
He (Jobs) said ‘I’ve got a great name: Apple Computer.’ Maybe he worked in apple trees. I didn’t even ask. Maybe it had some other meaning to him. Maybe the idea just occurred based upon Apple Records. He had been a musical person, like many technical people are. It might have sounded good partly because of that connotation. I thought instantly, ‘We’re going to have a lot of copyright problems.’
They also tried other names like the Executex and Matrix Electronics, but they didn’t fancy it as much as Apple Computers.
Later they dropped the computers part and name it Apple. That's how the name was born.
Think Different!!!
The coining of yet another famous name that we see in our day to day's life "Google" is again interesting.
In 1996, Larry Page and Sergey Brin were trying to give a name for their search engine. They tried it with "Backrub" for its analysis of the web's "back links".
Larry was studying at the stranford University sharing the office in room 360 with other graduates including Sean Anderson.
while discussing several names, Sean came up with the word "Googolplex" which means 10 to the power of 100. It is a cardinal number represented as 1 followed by 100 zeros. Since Google used immense data for indexing his justification got Larry's nod however he did not like plex added and they finally arrived at Googol. When Sean tried to check if Googol was already registered, he unkowingly typed Google and the domain was available.
Larry and Sergey liked the name Google and finally registered it that way.
That's the story of how Googol became Google.

The transformed Shopoholic
When the girl in the green scarf was questioned as to why she shops so much, she replies saying "The world gets better when I shop". I played the role of Rebecca Bloomwood for quite some time in reality. Yes, shopping excites me. Its a girl thing and a known fact.
There were times when I had accompanied friends for their shopping and had ended up buying stuffs more than them. It so happened that I had gone for a stroll and the manequins in the showrooms tempted me enough to pick their cool collections on sale and I had overwhelmingly acknowledged them. Everytime I step out during the weekends I never fail to bring in a new baggage along irrespective of whether I actually use those things purchased.
Its been quite some time that I did some massive shopping. These days when I come across the showrooms or any outlet for that matter I dont have the excitement to go and check out every damn thing out there and I dont find the value for money in most of the stuff on sale. For some reasons I am not finding anything great either. Have I lost the sense of fashion or have I become matured enough to decide between what I really need and the junkie stuff which remains as the abondoned ones forever in the wardrobe occupying the space for the heck of it. I think its the latter.
In the end it gives a sense of good feeling that I now know what I need to buy and what not to...

Lui
He has received a lot of compliments about his smile. Slowly he started to notice that his smile had become much brighter from the time he first saw her. He had no complaints against the week days.
He would'nt have used as much of his mathematical skills in school or at work as much as he used them to calculate the probability of her birthdate, probability of her having a boyfriend, probability of her liking for him and... Their smiles acknowledged each other. It was vacation time and he missed her presence around yet hoping to see her soon, really soon.
One fine evening when he was deep in his thoughts the mention on her name brought his attention to the conversation the group was having. He actually heard it right. Yes, she was gone!
He failed to notice that his smile is now incomplete...

By the shore
One of the things that makes me inadequately happy is "the beach". I can spend hours together on the shore and watch the waves rush towards me in excitement. The torquoise water, the soothing waves, the fresh air, golden sand, sea shells and the time spent in seclusion watching the beautiful sunset is totally worth it.
There is a pleasure in the pathless woods,
There is a rapture on the lonely shore,
There is society, where none intrudes,
By the deep sea, and music in its roar:
I love not man the less, but Nature more,
From these our interviews, in which I steal
From all I may be, or have been before,
To mingle with the Universe, and feel
What I can ne'er express, yet cannot all conceal.
-George Gordon Lord Byron

April Rain!
Doesn't it feel nice when it downpours all of a sudden in the hot summer.
Wow! It was such a welcoming rain in the evening that brought smiles in many of the faces in Namma Bengaluru!
I love the strong smell of the wet mud when it starts to drizzle and the way the condensed water vapours reach the surface of earth.
I remember my childhood days when I used to stand near the door and wait for the water level to increase so that I could send my version of the Titanics to sail for a while and reach the sea.
I never miss to try my artistic work on the water droplets accumulated on the car panes.
I very much fancy the transparent umbrella which I've been hunting for so long so that I could flaunt it around when it pours. Sadly, I havent found it anywhere and the shopkeepers generally give back a weird look whenever I enquire about it. Hopefully I find it somewhere soon and when I get one, it better rain and then maybe I can even start singing "Under my umbrella".
